Welcome to TravelCalm. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and secure user information across our Android mobile application ("App") and website ("Site"), located at travelcalm.samsuggest.com.

2. Mobile App Data & Sensor Disclosures

TravelCalm operates on a privacy-first model. Most actions and calculations are performed directly on your local device:

• Accelerometer & Gyroscope Sensors: The visual motion cues overlay uses your device sensors in real time to draw moving horizon indicators. This data is processed immediately in memory. It is never stored locally on disk and is never transmitted off-device.
• Local Profile Storage: User details such as name, age group, height, weight, pregnancy status, and Motion Sickness Susceptibility Questionnaire (MSSQ) responses are stored entirely within local Preferences and local Room/SQLite databases on your device. We do not host this profile data on remote servers.
• AI Travel Coach: If you select to utilize the AI Travel Coach, queries are sent directly to the respective API provider (Google Gemini, OpenAI, Groq, or OpenRouter) using the API keys you provide. Your keys are stored in encrypted Android shared preferences and are never inspected or collected by TravelCalm.

3. Website Data Collection

When you interact with our website, we may collect minimal data to provide essential services:

• Contact Inquiries: If you submit a query via the Contact form, we collect your name, email, subject, and message. This is stored in our database solely to reply to your inquiry.
• Newsletter Subscriptions: If you sign up for our newsletter, we save your email address in our secure MySQL subscriber database. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Server Logs: Like standard web hosts, our servers log anonymous request details (IP address, browser type, timestamps) to monitor server health and security.

4. Cookies and Advertising

Our Site may use basic cookies to enhance navigation. We may integrate Google AdSense to serve ads. Google AdSense utilizes the DoubleClick cookie to serve personalized ads based on your visits to this website and other sites across the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

5. Children's Privacy

TravelCalm does not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. Pediatric use of our motion cues or breathing exercises should always be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

6. Data Retention and Account Deletion Rights

You have full control over your data. To delete your locally stored profile and diagnostic history, go to the Account Settings screen inside the App and tap "Delete Account".

To request deletion of any contact submissions, newsletter signups, or support history stored on our web servers, you can submit a request at /delete-account.php or contact us directly. We will remove all corresponding web server records within 30 days of receiving your request.
